Guest Policy

A guest may attend up to two Chapter meetings, before they MUST become a member of National. The Chapter guest fee applies to all guests, including those who are members of National IDS but not yet members of our Chapter.
Guests are asked to visit the registration table upon arriving at each meeting -- to sign-in and pay their fee, receive membership information, and be connected with a member host. Guests RSVP to: Kat Haney.

Membership

Belonging to a professional organization like IDS has many benefits -- education, networking, recognition, and service.

"Whenever I am stuck and cannot find a resource or a solution to a design dilemma, I turn to the e-blast and by doing that, I am able to tap into the brains of many brilliant and experienced designers willing to help me solve my problem. This alone is worth belonging to IDS. " -- Sharon Lake-Gargano, IDS Professional, Triangle NC member .

We are a professional association made up of specialists in residential interior design. Based upon education level, years of experience, and area of service, membership levels are designated as: Professional, Associate, or Affiliate. Students are also allowed and encouraged to join.

In order to join a local chapter like Triangle NC, one must first become a member of National IDS. Just fill out the two membership forms, one for National and one for the Triangle NC Chapter and send them in to get started. If you need further assistance, please contact our Membership Chairperson, Kat Haney.
