Our Chapter
Our Vision - To be the leader in actively supporting and educating qualified designers
The Triangle NC Chapter's goal is to provide education and networking opportunities through regular meetings, community services and special projects. We are a dynamic & active chapter that provides opportunities for its members to grow in their profession and business. Our monthly meetings provide an arena to meet & hear from local companies who provide valuable services to interior designers. Relevant and valuable educational seminars help members stay fresh & knowledgeable. And, getting to know fellow colleagues allows us to benefit from the gifts & talents of others, while enjoying the support we all need. The expertise of an interior designer goes beyond providing services to our clients. Working with local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity & The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, we're able to serve our community. See our Portfolio for more information on chapter projects.
Our History
On October 27th, 2006 we celebrated our 10 years as the Triangle NC Chapter of the Interior Design Society. Our event was held at the Long Lake Club House in Raleigh. Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner and entertainment with live music by the band, "Time Machine." Brenda Eskridge was honored during the evening as our founding member and first chapter president.

"We encourage each new member to learn about our chapter history which began in 1996. Each designer can better understand the value of being a member of this chapter when they learn about our extensive volunteer work and community involvement and how that exposure benefits us all."
Brenda Eskridge, Founding Member and First Chapter President
